This is my first time ever doing Things I Love Thursday! I like reading other peoples’ lists, and I thought it would be a fun way to focus on positive aspects of my life. After all, I have a lot to be grateful for and happy about these days!
Anyway, here we go!
Enjoying so far all my classes in my final college semester, even if I am becoming more aware each day that Japanese class may be the end of me! The challenge is exciting though… almost everything is new!
New friends. And old friends too!

Frogs outside! There are a group of frogs who have made their home in the rice field next to our apartment building, and they like to chirp and ribbit all night long. Listening to them is a very relaxing way to fall asleep :)
Tatsuya making me laugh by sending me links to cute and funny stuff while we’re apart during the day. For example, today he mailed me links to this and this. Hahaha!!
Finding out today that Otousan and Okaasan (my in-laws) are coming from Fukui visit on Saturday. They want to come over to our house, so I’m looking forward to showing them what it looks like now since the last time they were here was when it was nearly empty! Also it is Otousan’s birthday that day (as well as Oniichan’s later in the week) so we can celebrate together!
My own birthday coming up soon and making plans for a party! I haven’t thrown a party in a long time. In high school, my birthday was usually the same week as AP tests (which almost all my friends and myself took) and in college I had a new boyfriend so birthday equaled date night. I just hope I remember how to be cool! Aharharhar :B

Last but not least, my sweet, kind, and always helpful mother! She could very well be on this list every week because I think about her all the time and miss her to bits. Even though we live far apart she is still there for me always. And she always comments on my blog… usually she’s the first one! She makes me happy.
